DEDICATED WIDE CAR-PARKING SPACES
Dedicated wide car-parking spaces in the short-stay car park within
50 metres of the main entrance, for use by disabled badge holders
on long or short stay journeys.
PICK-UP AREA
A pick-up area is provided on the terminal front for the collection
of disabled passengers. Please note that vehicles must not be left
unattended in this area. Anyone wishing to park and wait for passengers
should park in the short stay car park as usual.
DISABLED TOILET FACILITIES
Disabled toilet facilities, lowered telephones and wheelchairs throughout
the terminal.
A LIFT
A lift to provide access to the first floor food hall. The airport
also provides electronically activated and controlled doorways.
AMBULIFT
Ambulift or carrychair for boarding aircraft. (Passengers who require
assistance with boarding should notify their travel agent or airline
at the time of booking.)
WHEELCHAIR
Wheelchair accessible taxis available from Link Cars. Wheelchairs
are available for use by passengers prior to boarding.
HARD OF HEARING LOOPS
Hard of hearing loops are provided throughout the terminal.
SHOPS
There is a wide range of shops in the Main Terminal and the International
Departure Lounge.
RESTAURANTS & CAFES
On the first floor of the terminal building there is a food hall
offering a wide range of catering options including Burger King
, County Kitchen, Upper Crust and Covent Garden Soup Outlets. The
Local Hero traditional British pub, also on the first floor, serves
a selection of bar meals.
CHILDREN'S FACILITIES
A children's play area, sponsored by Airtours, is available in the Main Terminal Building. A play area is also available
in the International Departures Lounge which features a large screen showing the Cartoon Network.
